Thiago Ferreira has been training Gracie Jiu Jitsu for 16 years and is a black belt from Prof. Crolin Gracie. Thiago has also trained under Rillion Gracie in Brazil and Rickson Gracie in the USA

Thiago now teaches on the NSW Central Coast as part of the Gracie Sydney Assocation and Beston-Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

An experienced competitor, Thiago counts the following among his accomplishments:

• AFBJJ NSW State Champion 2010
• South Brazilian Championship in 2004, 2005 &2006(85 kg)
• NSW Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2007 and 2008(85kg)
• Pan Pacific Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2008 Open Weight No Gi 3nd place, Open Weight Division Gi 2nd place, 92 kg Division Gi 2nd place.
